World Cup 2014 Betting Tips: Can Brazil Win the World Cup? By That's a Goal

The World Cup in Brazil next summer promises to be spectacular and the hosts are current favourites in the latest World Cup 2014 betting odds, but can Brazil win the World Cup?

Brazilian football has always been praised and now Brazil can show of their skills at hosting a major tournament next summer. In the current World Cup betting they are a best price 7/2.

To win the World Cup, which is what many will be expecting in the South American country, they will have to face up to a few hindering issues.

Three Reasons Brazil Will Not Win the World Cup

Pressure.

South American fans are bonkers about their football it allows an escape from everyday life. The Brazilian army will be expectant but with Spain and Germany in the competition the pressure on the team to perform against these talented sides will force some fanatical South Americans to face the facts that it may not be a stroll in the park.

Experience.

Despite being regarded as one of the best teams in the world and have possession of great previous experience and history Spain have dominated recent tournaments in Europe and at the World Cup, having won Euro 2008, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012 in succession. Brazil did win the Confederations Cup thanks largely to a player of the tournament display from Neymar, but can the rest of the squad live up to the hype at Brazil 2014?

Ability.

Brazil aren’t the same side that won the World Cup in 2002 and many have been questioning their ability as a whole squad and whether they have the firepower to win a World Cup. Neymar is a world class player at his young age and Fred scores goals but they do have weaknesses and the midfield could be an issue against the stronger nations next summer. The likes of Lucas Leiva is plagued by injury and Luiz Gustavo hasn't been able to hold down a starting place for his club. Paulinho could turn out to be a key figure for Brazil.
